A little bit about this venue
Sandy Cove is one of those venues where the view does a lot of the talking.
Perched above the North Devon coastline, it looks out across the sea, the rugged Atlantic coast and towards Exmoor, giving you an incredible backdrop from pretty much every angle. The main venue space is bright, contemporary and stylish, with floor-to-ceiling glass and bi-fold doors designed to bring those sea views straight into the room.
You’ve also got the clifftop gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, a licensed indoor ceremony space if the weather turns, and plenty of room for the day to flow naturally from ceremony to drinks, dinner and evening celebrations.

Why I love it
Photographically, Sandy Cove gives you something pretty special.
The cliffs, sea, huge skies and changing coastal light mean you can create a really varied set of photographs without ever having to disappear far from your guests. There’s also the skywalk, which projects out over the cliff and gives you one of those instantly recognisable Sandy Cove views.
But what I also really like is how easy the venue makes the day feel. Everything is close together, the spaces are well designed and the team know exactly how to keep things moving without making the wedding feel rushed.
That matters. When the venue runs smoothly, you can stop thinking about timings and logistics and just enjoy being with the people you’ve invited.
